Our first stop in the way to the famous Valley of the Kings – situated on the West Bank – will be at the impressive Memnon Colossi. Here we will met also your private, certified and English speaking guide who will accompany us during the day explaining the ancient history and answering all your questions.
At the Valley of the Kings you are able to visit three tombs with your entrance ticket. Some of the tombs (e.g. the tomb of Tut-Anch-Amun) are accessible but against extra charge. It is not allowed to take pictures inside the Valley of the Kings, but you can purchase an extra ticket for taking pictures at the entrance.
Our next stop is at the Medinat Habu Temple – one of the less frequently visited temples but well worth a visit.
Time for a small break and a delicious Egyptian style lunch (no buffet) in a cozy little garden restaurant with scenic view across the green farm lands.
