We will start our day with the famous Giza Plateau to visit the Pyramids and the Sphinx. Admire the last still preserved Wonder of the Antique World.
Time for a lunch break. We will be stopping in a small and cozy, typical Egyptian garden cafe and restaurant. Not many tourists will be found here and we will be served with an outstanding, delicious and traditional Egyptian lunch including a small mixed BBQ, home made Egyptian bread, rice, falafel, salad and lots of other mouthwatering dishes.
Next stop is at the Egyptian National Museum in the city center of Cairo. The museum is packed with all the ancient treasures of the Egyptian history. It would take days to see all of the more than 150,000 artifacts therefore your guide chooses some of the most interesting ones, for example the magnificent treasures found in the tomb of Tut Anch Amun. Taking pictures is not permitted inside the museum, but you can purchase a photo ticket at the entrance to can take picture. Some areas are completely restricted for taking photos – even if purchased the extra ticket.
At the end of the day we will have a small walk through the mid-eval streets of Cairos Old Town, before heading back to Hurghada.
